Stormy Seas: Stories of Young Boat Refugees (2017)

Stormy Seas follows the true events of five children whose lives are torn apart by conflict in their home countries. From Nazi Germany to the Vietnam war, and the Cuban revolution to present day terrorism, each journey unveils the reality of what it means to be a refugee. This book was an unbelievable privilege to design and illustrate. The hope for me and Mary Beth is that it will provide a voice for the voiceless, and serve as a true example of what it means to overcome life’s most seemingly impossible barriers and go on to achieve incredible things.
